Easy Script Undocumented Features --------------------------------- Here's a few undocumented features of Easy Script. If you are in edit mode, a joystick in port 2 will move the cursor around the screen at about twice the speed of the cursor control keys. I don't know what it is good for, but maybe you could turn a trackball upside-down for the first Easy Script mouse!!! You can save your listing file to disk. O C S will prompt you for the file name. The formatted listing will be saved under that name on the disk. If you selected "CBM Printer" from the main menu, the text will be stored in PETSCII (also known as CBM ASCII or PET ASCII). The only problem is that "QO" will appear at the beginning of every line. Simply load the formatted listing into Easy Script, then search & replace to delete the "QO"'s. If you choose the 1=MX80 printer option, (S)erial, the file will be stored in real ASCII. You can even change the device number of the disk you want to use for storage. At the main menu (D)isk or (T)ape prompt, instead of D, enter the device number you wish to use. Also, Easy Script will entertain you as you work! CTRL-3 will play a song. I've heard that different versions of Easy Script play different tunes. My copy plays "Pomp and Circumstance".
